「Just stayed one night on the way to Edinburgh and it was great! Our room (in the old school house behind the pub) was small but had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the pub and the food was fantastic (and great "desert cocktail" too!) Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Excellent stop off!」

「This was a beautiful hotel! It is a historic building so it has it’s quirks but it was neat to stay here! The staff was friendly and this one included the free breakfast. The only thing I would caution is the room was a long way through a maze of stairs and corridors so if you brought múltiple suitcases and have a car then plan ahead and only take what you will need and be wearing the next day in your smaller case otherwise this place was fantastic! I think they may have offered to help with...

「We received a friendly welcome on arrival and our room was spacious, very clean and styled in a contemporary way. The bathroom fittings were new and had very good lighting. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much. 」

「Was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and accommodating in a quiet area. Only concerning might be parking, as it’s sometimes quite difficult with a large vehicle. Would consider staying here again if we come to Scotland in the future.」
