「The only downside to this hotel is the fact that it at the top of a hill from Teignmouth. A big climb if you are travelling by train. Other than that he hotel itself was well maintained. The rooms comfy. Widescreen Tv and free wi fi. The cooked breakfasts were good and if there was anything they didn't have, you could always ask for it. Overall, a very good short holiday. Would i go again - definitely, but oh that hill.」

「Check in was very easy, the room was compact but okay for 1 night stay. We had our dog and our room was the furthers away from the main entrance or garden, so would have been better if we was a bit closer. breakfast was really good and the bar was well stocked and a great view from the bay window. would defiantly stay again.」

「The staff was great, but the property needs some work. Our “bay view” was covered by scaffolding and absolutely filthy windows. Carpets were really shabby and the floorboards all creaked and were lumpy. 」

「The hotel had some character. We booked car parking for £12 a night at the rear of the hotel, we did not expect to park on waste ground with a 75 yard walk to the back door. We booked a table for 7pm. in the restaurant when we arrived the room was empty and no sign of staff, we enquired in the bar to be told that meals were being served in the bar. We never were able to use our reservation and did not stay after paying in full. 「Lovely building and really helpful owners / staff . Was really clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good . Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . Bit noisy at night time but obviously the very nice owners can’t help that .」
