「Service was impeccable and the room was just perfect! There were quite a lot of stairs to our room but our bags were delivered for us while we checked in and the room was worth every step. Lovely! We also ate a meal and had drinks in the pub. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. We would absolutely stay here again!」

The bathroom had a luxury feel and the shower was excellent. We slept very well and then enjoyed our breakfast chosen from a comprehensive menu. Overall, an excellent experience. 」

「Very comfortable, great staff, super convenient parking. Didn't eat here in the evening, but Breakfast was excellent and served with a smile, all the staff are spot on. Beware the full English, it's a whopper, there is a small English which will be my choice next time.」

「Cannot recommend this place enough. The pub itself is really nice, the rooms are lovely, and the staff are friendly. It’s also fantastic value for money for London. We booked outside of London central, because I wanted to take my friend to Gods Own Junkyard (awesome place). But, having stayed here, even though it’s a bit of way out I’d totally stay here when all my plans are central London based in the future. It’s so much nicer than some of the places we’ve paid a lot more for in the centre,...

「On a whole our room was clean, fresh and very comfortable for our needs. However the wet /bathroom basin was too small and the shower needs a door or curtain as all the floor gets soaking wet. All the staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Would recommend staying here as convenient in all areas. 」

「An Inn dated back in 1878, a gem. Rooms are currently renovated on its old bone, carries a strong contrast to its pub on the ground floor where homey yummy food served. The staff was super chilled, it’s Peckham after all. Highly recommend!!!」

「Rooms were pleasant enough and staff that checked us in were really friendly. No food options but in walking distance to plenty of places and town centre. Nice touch to leave out cereals etc for breakfast. Mirrors in bedroom/bathroom quite small so wasn’t the easiest to get ready. Cleaning staff knocking on our doors at 9:30 to ask us to leave keys in door (fine) but also reminding us check out was at 10 made us feel like we were being rushed out of our rooms (we knew what time check out was)」

「Excellent base for exploring the area. Staff were super helpful and polite. Had a REALLY creaky bed on the first night so didn’t get much sleep. Told staff the following morning and we were moved straight away. 」

「Really good stay, checked in at a busy time in the bar but was seen to so quickly! Informed of all the information. Over night there was no noise and had a peaceful nights sleep. 10/15 mins walk to the nearest tube and only 20 mins into the city We will stay here again !! 」

「We have just had a really good two nights here. The room was great and the pub was very welcoming with the steak dinner and the midweek happy hour a particular highlight. I couldn't get the wifi to work but we weren't in the room much so it wasn't a problem.」

「2-minute walk from the Aldgate East Underground Station, with some cafes nearby. Equipped with washing machine with drying function, which makes a long-stay (11 days and 10 nights) more convenient. Likely to stay in the same hotel when I come back to London next time.」
