「Afric Hotel is well located with the casbah and metro in walking distance. The staff is really friendly and helpful and speaks English. For Algiers it might be your best budget option near the casbah, but in Algeria it was my most expensive accommodation and the rooms and breakfast were the most basic/outdated.
