It is reasonably basic accommodation, but had everything that I required. It is dog friendly with many walks to take dogs on. I'd recommend it for a couple, especially if they have a pet with them. The pottery is also very interesting.
Amazing find. Really fabulous acc. Awesome food. Great amount of things to do. This place is well worth going to. Also has a large pottery studio. Very friendly.
This place is a little gem, all of the staff are happy and helpful. They are great communicators. This is a very rustic place, very clean, warm rooms, comfy beds. They offer cooked dinners as they are out of town, I had the cooked dinner and it was awesome. They have a very nice selection of quality wines.
They have areas on the property that you can bush walk, with a lot of birdlife and native plants.
There is an unsealed dirt road of about 10km long to get to them, considering the length and type of road it is quite good. There are some bumpy rough spots.
I would definitely stay there again. Good value for money.
The location was great, fairly easy to access.Staff were top.notch .
Being an amature potter myself I was mist interested in viewing the sale Gallery, the studio all the beautiful pieces completed and available for purchase .The prices were indicative of the quality and skills of each potter. A calm and peaceful place to experience .thank you to the team fof gheur cameraderie and caring.
Genuine care shown by all staff made me feel so welcome. I am looking forward to returning to this earthy and meticulously clean oasis in the spectacular Pilliga! Dog friendly, home cooked meals, lovely fresh linen, intelligent staff, family owned and run, beautiful architecture, amazing pottery studio and so much more to experience.
Great location - made a fantastic break from our road trip MEL - BNE

Liked: Cleanliness
The pottery was beautiful. The service was great. The food was very good quality and reasonably priced. It was a little hot but not their fault. Loved the stay would definitely stay again.
Unique farmstay accommodation. You can feed farm animals, many bushwalking trails, pottery lessons, lovely cafe serving fresh wood fired pizza and home made gelato among other menu items. The staff are warm and friendly. It is a farm so expect some dust and flies, making it an authentic experience. Maria and her family have created a little oasis in The Pilliga.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY.
We arrived late to find no lighting, no room numbers and people in the room that we had been told would be ours. There is no after-hours contact number and no phone reception at the property.
We had to drive 35km back into town at 11pm after a frightening experience and were lucky to find alternative accommodation.
These people are unsafe and inconsiderate. DO NOT GO THERE.
Rustic accommodation but perfect for the environment - the little add-ons like the bushwalk with Kerry are super and the offer of dinner even though we arrived very late was much appreciated

Really enjoyed our stay. The peace and quiet.
The night sky. No mosquitos. Enjoyed the pottery demonstration and cafe. There are nice walks to go on . The only negative was that there was no hot water, so a cold shower.

Lovely family environment, but logistics very difficult if you have babies needing bottles etc. We stayed in the farmhouse which was cute, but bring all your own cups/bowls/cutlery and be prepared to queue to shower and brush your teeth!
We had a lovely stay! Comfortable room / bed and heating. We shared the bathroom with two other couples but we managed okay! We so enjoyed our panorama walk overlooking the property which took us an hour and half. My husband enjoyed his evening meal of German sausages & I the barramundi! Overall a lovely experience!
THe owner was very helpful with anything we needed. The pinch pot classes were excellent value at only a third of the prices charged in Brisbane. My 10 and 12 year old boys enjoyed this a lot. Although we hiked at Warrambungles and Kapatur National Parks, this property had some excellent hiking trails and walks whic hwere well maintained and had peaceful beautiful views. The Cafe had excellent food. Blankets were warm for winter and the beds comfy.
We arrived after a long and arduous trip, Maria was there to welcome us, she knew the purpose of our stay was to celebrate my mums 80th, lots of focus on ensuring everything was as it should be. I thought Maria was the most authentic business person I have come across during many decades of all sorts of travel. Imagine how blown away I was to hear Maria's own mum had very recently passed yet her focus was on ours and other guests experience . By the way the whole stay was wonderful but really stood out was a sense of ethics which permeated through all the staff, I loved seeing kids playing and laughing outside with very happy hounds as well. This has prompted my first feedback for anything.....ever!!!
There's something magical, everything about Maria's place. It's about 15 mins off newell hwy, in a middle of nowhere but it felt like I was welcomed to their house and stayed there. Not only clean and comfortable the people there are friendly who are into pottery and who love being there. Very unique place and there has been a lot of hard work going in to maintain this place. Don't expect a 5 star motel and please have respect to stay at their place, it is family owned and it is a gem. Thank you for letting me stay. Incomparable to any other place and the best place I've ever stayed
