"This was the most terrible stay. The hotel was dilapidated, and did not look safe. There were holes in the walls, construction was going on, and the bathroom was not clean. Our balcony looked over a green murky pool in the adjacent property with mosquitoes on our balcony. We did not want to sleep in the bed and slept in our clothes and did not sleep well as the power went out at least 20 times during the night. No air or electricity . "It’s a basic, budget hotel. But everything was clean, and the staff were great. There are several friendly cats (and a dog) that live on the property, and I enjoyed interacting with them. "

"This was our first stop on arrival in Sri Lanka and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are wonderful, the food was gorgeous and the setting by the lake was idyllic. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have high ceilings and views of the lake. Altogether a great start to our holiday."
