"Hotel Lapad is a charming hotel in a lovely location.. My room had a small balcony with a beautiful side view of the sea, which I really enjoyed. However, considering the price, I expected the room to be a little more comfortable and updated. My experience with the front desk staff was mixed. Although they were helpful at times, their manner occasionally felt a bit unwelcoming, and I sometimes hesitated to approach them with questions or requests\. A warmer and more hospitality-focused attitude would make the overall guest experience much more enjoyable. Beautiful pool but not enough chairs for the guests."

"As other reviewers note the surrounding area isn’t particularly inviting but it didn’t feel unsafe. We walked to and from the hotel including at night. Zadar is still pretty unspoilt and quiet compared to Dubrovnik or Split but more flights year on year bring more tourists with new hotels opening to accommodate them, in areas outside the old town, this being one. It is an easy taxi ride from the airport and 15 mins walking distance from the old town. It was clean and comfortable but our room was very small and quite noisy - could hear toilets and showers in surrounding rooms during the night. Staff were good."

"Our stay at the Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort was worth every penny. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The views from the hotel, even just the check-in counter, were breathtaking. The breakfast was absolutely worth it; every type of food you can think of, beautiful presentation. We enjoyed using the pool as well."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our family! We loved the amenities, amazing views, and the short walk to the beautiful beach. The nightlife was fantastic, and there was so much to enjoy. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back!"

"Unique setting !! Very laid back for a big hotel .. Not suitable for the elderly as too many steps and very vast in size … Amazing breakfast buffet couldn’t think of anything it didn’t have … No problem with fresh towels for pool .. beach .. etc no bands needed .. Would definitely stay again .."

The pool looked inviting! The location to the waterfront was great. The room was over loaded with signage about everything the hotel had to say."
