Stayed in room 211 and seen the sheets were peepee stained when i got up to leave in the morning. But 4 stars because they have the best coffee machine that offers the best cappchinos in the breakfast area.

Was told about the renovations upon arrival, the whole lobby was being torn apart. I do appreciate the honesty, it was a comfortable stay for the money. Water pressure in the shower wasn't hard enough to wash out any kind of shampoo, but we managed.

Carpet in the room was filthy. The sheets on one of the beds had stains. I found a dead roach on the floor. There is mold growing in the air-conditioning vent. The smoke/fire alrm was hanging from the ceiling by a wire. Expedia said room included breakfast, but no breafast was included. Since the whole bottom ground floor is under construction. The staff was very friendly.

I read many of the previous reviews and decided the price was worth the gamble. The main sign out was hard to find but the address in Google Maps was correct. The parking lot is well lit and parking was readily available near the front. Reception was fine, but i do agree with others that $100 deposit is a bit much for a 2 or 3 star hotel. Our room was partially renovated with newer furnishings and tile. The AC unit did rattle, but it was not too bothersome. The elevator inspection was up to date (a previous reviewer said it was not). The bathroom and room doors locked just fine. There was a drain stop in the tub, everything was clean enough. No bugs either. I didnt check if the pool was open.

This hotel has gone down hill,I usually stay here when I'm in town but over the last few years it had gotten worse, the room was poorly cleaned, dirty base boards in the bathroom ,dirty tiles,no indoor pool the carpet has spots everywhere and the elevator is disgusting Great staff, but I will stay at better hotel for the same price.
