「They say you get what you pay for, but that's not the case if you book the Snowy Mountains Hostel. The website advertises a public bar, bistro, and pool table, but none of those were available during our stay. They say there's an indoor pool but we couldn't find it. We would have asked reception where the pool was, but it wasn't manned, at all (the website said it would be). There was a sign at reception that said "call this number if there's no-one at reception" but no-one answered (well...

「We booked the deluxe king room. Well we got quite a surprise when we opened the door at it was soooo small. It had a microwave so I assumed when I was packing that there would be some crockery and cutlery but no, there was only teaspoons and cups! thankfully the bed was very comfortable and the towels (no face washer) were beautiful and soft and large.」

「Such a lovely stay at Jindabyne. Host was very attentive, free breakfast in the mornings including machine coffee and tea, rooms were small but very clean」

「Stayed here twice now - in September 2022 and September 2023 - and it's been a comfortable, easy stay. Checking in and out is convenient with the key card safe box system. Beds and rooms are warm and have bar fridges, kettle and a microwave (very handy). Close drive to Jindabyne. Will return.」
