Great location

2 blocks to beach with coffee shop and Vietnamese noodle restaurants next door make it a good location. The hotel is fairly new, but like many in Asia, is not maintained. The lobby is beautiful but as soon as I exited the elevator on my floor, I noticed a large unfinished repair patch in the ceiling. The room initially presents well, but marks on the wall, a t.v. remote held together with black tape, and scratches on the furniture take away from it. If you like a rock hard bed, you will love this one. Most beds have a small bounce when sat upon; this mattress had no movement. I can not imagine what material is used to produce such a hard surface?
