"ROOM WAS OK BUT ONLY FOR SHORT STAY. IF LIKE ME YOUR WELL ROUNDED YOU WILL STRUGGLE GETTING IN AND OUT OF SHOWER. FREE BREAKFAST TURNED OUT TO BE VEGETARIAN SO NOT FOR ME. YOGHURT COMPOTE WAS BEST ITEM ON MENU. PLENTY TO DO IN THE AREA IF YOU ENJOY WALKING."

"Great location and lovely rooms. The bed was super comfy and we had a great sleep. Though hotel was very busy it was also very quiet. The hotel is also very pet welcoming. Only food available in the evening was in the bar and to be honest the menu is not appropriate for a large hotel with only 4 starters ( of which one was unavailable) and six main courses - 4 of which came with boiled rice. This really needs improvement. The waitress ( there was only one) was lovely, very busy but also very courteous , attentive and friendly. Breakfast was continental but lots to chose from and good, fresh produce. Would absolutely stay again but unless menu changes would eat in nearby Helensburgh."

"Such a nice place! So well kept and such a good location on the square. Amazing restaurant downstairs and the breakfast was incredible. Service was amazing and the gentleman checking us in was hilarious and welcoming! Would advise anyone visiting Hburgh to stay here!"
