I lived in a private room with private bath. Reception can speak basic English which is easier for us to communicate. Room is basic, which is expected because price is reasonable. They offer complimentary breakfast which is great since many of my day trip starts early. Neighbourhood is quite and ensure you have a nice sleep. Overall a good experience.

Cozy and basic
The hostel is generally clean and room is spacious with two buck beds. Value for money. The staff were helpful and kind!! I had 10pm bus and the staff was kind enough to let me wait at the common area until my check in as there is nothing to do and not enough seat at the bus terminal.

Good price but far from centre
Very unclear on how to get there, we ended up going to three different locations before finding it. There was no hot water in the room. The walk to the city centre was a little further than comfortable. If you're on a budget, would recommend, otherwise spend a little more on somewhere better.
The hotel is close to many attractions, which helped a lot. The biggest issue was the bathroom, which was one for the entire floor. Can you imagine up to 20 people using one toilet and taking cold showers only? Another issue was that the hotel was in a busy street, which made sleeping quite uncomfortable. The breakfast too was late and inadequate. If you can go anywhere else, do so.

staff were all very nice and friendly. the location is good enough, 10 to 15 minutes walk, but I was a little scared to walk from the plaza de armas at night.
I enjoyed my first few nights in Peru here, I knew I wasn't staying at a 5 star hotel, but this was a wonderful first time experience for a hostel.
My room was clean and comfortable, and had a jar filtered drinking water.
Literally around the corner from some great hotels, this hostel is near wonderful restaurants, Kennedy Park, markets and a grocery store.

This hostel is ok.
This hotel was ok, a clean and an alright place to stay for a night if you need something cheap and decent. The main problem is that for backpackers or others who want to stay in the shared rooms, there is only one bathroom per floor. So if someone is in it you have to wait. There isn't even a men's/women's separate bathroom, just one total. It's small and not really social which was what I was looking for so I'm only giving it two stars. The private rooms did look nice and had I known the bathroom setup, I would've stayed there instead.
