"Our room was next to the breakfast prep area and every morning there was an inordinate amount of noise from 6am on. Our AC was making a terrible vibrating noise. We informed the staff of both of these concerns and nothing was done to remedy them. We have stayed in this Hampton Inn many times in the past and never had these kinds of problems. Very disappointing."

"This property was extremely underwhelming to say the least. Upon arrival I was given just my checking card and it had two different room numbers written on the card when I asked which one was to clarify the hotel manager looked at me not at his head and pointed a direction I said okay so is this number and he just nodded his head and pointed again. And then walking into the room there was dead bugs in the bed sheets cigarette Burns everywhere mildew all over the walls it was a disgusting Hotel I do not recommend it to anyone especially with children like I had I ended up sending my wife and son to stay somewhere else and I stayed in the room because I cannot cancel or get my money back"

"The location was convenient for most of what I wanted to do. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is right on the beach, but due to that there were often people hanging out in the parking lot smoking near by etc... My room was fine; a bit awkward but fine for one person. The bathroom had many extras and storage which was nice. My windows faced the beach, but one whole side was blurred/smudged out I guess from being old. My room was near the elevator and it was very loud both nights. Sounded like many drunk people in the hallway. The breakfast and amenities were disappointing. The parking area was ok, but you are charged for it. I would pay a little more to stay somewhere else next time."

"There are two primary reasons I rated this property 3 out of 5 stars. The room and facilities were very nice. However, this is a Springhill Suites, not a Motel 6. I did not expect to hear my neighbors walking on the floor above me, nor did I expect to hear them using the bathroom. This is not what I expect from a well-respected, higher-end chain like Springhill Suites. The other reason I am not completely happy is the parking fees. I knew about the $15/day parking when I reserved the room, but to charge the full amount for the day you check in (which is late) and the day you check out (which is early) is unacceptable. When I see companies screwing their customers like this, I make a point of not returning."
