"Under the canvas was just as expected. Cool tents, Great views, great staff. The tents are very well equipped, we stayed in a stargazer and even tho the clouds didn't cooperate we got to see some stars in the breaks. Covers plenty warm enough and didn't turn on heater until the morning. Flushing toilet, pull chain shower worked well just gotta wash with one hand. Very good food, whole system laid out well."

"We arrived before check-in time, but the desk staff was really helpful - gave us a call when the room was ready, so we were able to go on a bike ride around Hood River. I always appreciate older, classic properties, and the Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa is a gem. Great, comfortable room, great food at Valentino's, and grounds that make you want to explore. The price was great, and we'll stay again the next time we're in town."

"The property was very well appointed, staff was very helpful and the room was immaculate. The best part of this property was our river view from the Balcony. And the worst part is I only stayed 1 day! I had never imagined that a Best Western Hotel could have an upscale hotel but I was wrong!! Great Job!"
