「Overall, the hotel's environment and facilities and staff are good, but two things make me uneasy. Firstly, the bed is wrinkled, which gives the impression that someone has slept on it before, although the quilt looks new. Secondly, the bottom of the swimming pool appears dirty, making it impossible to determine whether the water is clean or dirty.」

「The room was clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast perfect for getting us to the slopes early. On all 3 days we skied, we were filled with oatmeal, boiled eggs, fruit and hot tea. It was great. One day we also had pear halves with cherries inside -- a nod to the old days. A quick walk across the parking lot got us to the ski shuttle. Mask policy is sometimes enforced, but this hotel is superior to the Nell in that vaccines are not required for 12 and over, so if you are reluctant to have your children or yourselves vaccinated the St Regis will not discriminate against you. 「We were here for a wedding and every event (including the reception in the Public House) was within two blocks. This made our trip so easy. And by the way I did not know any of the event sites when I booked our stay at the Public House. The only place I would stay should I find myself in Crested Butte again.」
