「Hostess was gracious, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast had a huge variety of items and was delicious. Location is convenient, about a 20 minute walk to city centre. If we come back to Scotland, we would stay here again」

「We loved the location being so near the Culloden battlefield and Clava Cairns. Additionally, Inverness was a short drive with easy access. The property was lovely and we took advantage of walking the gardens. The library and drawing rooms were perfect to enjoy a cocktail and the breakfast and dinner were terrific. 「This property was severely lacking for the price point. We have stayed in “ castles” before, so we know what to expect. Kincraig’s exterior looks dirty. The roof needs attention. There are missing slates. The windows need some type of weather seal to help keep moisture from coming in rooms. Our pillows and bedding were damp. The bedding was very poor. They did have a mattress cover, but instead of a fitted sheet, they used a flat sheet. The pillows were the worst! They were flat and didn’t...

「The hotel is very clean. The staff is wonderful and will do anything to help. They even stayed way past the normal end of check-in time because our plane was so late getting to Inverness. I would definitely recommend Smithton Hotel!」
