「We recently stayed at Penventon Park Hotel while visiting family in Redruth. Although we found parts of Redruth itself to be quite a deprived town, the hotel provided a very pleasant and relaxing stay on the edge of town with great parking available. 「We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and have yet to hear back from a Manager regarding the numerous complaints we had with the service experienced. To begin with, I will note the positives: Clean room Friendly staff Beautiful views Now the negatives: Upon checking into our room at 7pm (following a telephone conversation had earlier in the morning regarding our children and dog joining us) we discovered that the extra beds were not in our room ready for our children to sleep on....

「Room was spacious, but under a function room, and the noise transmitted down. We had cool weather, and the room was warm. No aircon, so can imagine it would be very uncomfortable in hot weather. The room telephone and TV did not work when we got the room. Fixed the next day. TV was not networked, so no iPlayer etc. The Sundeck advertised with the room was a private patio outside. Ok, but not really private. Also cigarette butts not cleared away from previous occupants. Pool and gym ok...
