"Beautiful decor, lighting, comfy pillows and bedding. Clean, nice room layout. Very nice onsen views, helpful staff. The one thing to improve is to provide mini skincare amenities like other high-end hotels in Japan."

"We did not realize that dinner and breakfast was not included even though it said kaiseki meal in the description. One of the nearby restaurants was closed and the other would not seat foreigners. The staff did offer to call us a taxi to take us to a restaurant 10 minutes away, but we ended up eating snacks from the hotel store for dinner. Luckily we were able to add on breakfast the following morning. But our room was wonderful, staff was helpful, and the property was gorgeous."

"Right by the station, location’s a gem. Convenience store at level one, connected to the hotel makes it quite tempting to buy something back all the time. Toilet seems rather refreshed and new despite the retro feel of the hotel, very comfortable stay for four nights. "
