"Booked a non-refundable room. Got an email after I booked that the pool was closed. Did not see the email until after my plane landed. In the pool notice they failed to mention the entire hotel has been under construction. When I brought up the lack of transparnecy with the front desk they were rude and argued with me. I urged them to look on their own website and on hotels.com to see for themselves that nothing is posted about the closed pool regardless of how long it has been out of service for. Overall a terrible experience. Was booked for 2 nights but checked out the next morning to find a different accommodation. Will never be back and will not recommend - especially if you have kids. "

"The property is in a convenient location - 10 minutes from the international airport. It is a quiet and comfortable village. The property itself is very pretty and relaxing. The staff were excellent, friendly, and attentive. My only issues were cleanliness in the room; the blanket had hairs on it that weren't ours, and the sheets were definitely not pristine. Apart from that, everything was good. I would stay here again."

"Staff were friendly, the pics online make it look nicer than it is. The swim up bar doesn’t exist, just seats in the pool. They have a shuttle but you still have to pay to get a ride."

"This property is beautiful. Its clean, and the staff is kind, helpful. Julie at the office was great, always ready to help whether we had any questions or needed to book transportation. The spa was a great, relaxing experience as well. The room, pool it was all nice. There isnt dining but there is a cafe arpund the corner. And its in a residential area. I felt safe walking to nearby restaurants as well. I was celebrating a birthday, thank you Palms for a great stay. "

"Interesting place as it is across the river and a short boat ride is required. They are very accommodating to get you back and forth. Great staff. Large cabana room with full kitchen. The cabins are rustic but reasonable for the price. Nice grounds with river view, tropical plants and beautiful iguanas."

"It was nice that they were able to accommodate our early arrival. The room was clean but there were several large ants this morning. Since it was windy a lot of items were rattling making it hard to get a good night sleep. It would have been nice to have a couple of complementary bottles of water for the price. The pool was rather cloudy. The restaurant food is mediocre with overpriced US prices. "
