「The staff were very helpful and considerate. The evening meal was delicious with a good variety of choice. The breakfast however didnt match up to the same standard. The food had been cooked for a while, in spite of standing in the hot plates, it was cold and unappealing. The general decor needs a lick of paint. It was however clean and comfortable. 」

「The location was very convenient when we came in on the motorway. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The parking was great and the elevators were a godsend. The staff was welcoming and friendly. 」

「The guest house is clean, friendly owners, a good breakfast, and it's up a quiet side street with easy parking on the road. Larne isn't one of Ireland's top tourist destinations but it's very convenient for both Belfast and the Antrim coast.」

「This was our first stopover on the Giants Causeway coastal route. It was comfortable and welcoming, in a pleasant spot opposite a charming harbour. The room was spacious and the evening meal was very enjoyable. 」

「Family of 4, girls enjoyed the spa whilst the boys went swimming. Could do with a few more options but I believe there's plans to extend the spa area in the near future. Would recommend for a short break. Adjoining tea room serves great food during the day but no dinner service, with very nice service - highly recommended. 」

「Our stay was a nice change from being in Dublin and Galway. The walk around the property is very relaxing. It was nice being able to spread out in different rooms. 」

Hot tub was a welcome addition and although the property is about 45 mins from the airport, hiring a car is easy and affordable and then you have much better access here to other spots on the coast. 5 star, would stay again, and thank you to Niall and Janeen for their hospitality. 」

「The accommodation is well situated to access sights on the Antrim coast and glens. The owners were flexible and communicated well. We had everything we needed at the accommodation including a well stocked fridge. Thoroughly recommended. 」

「This is a beautiful cottage in a quaint area. We used it as a base to visit parts of NIR to the north (Rope Bridge in Carrick-a-Rede and Giants Causeway) and south (Dobbins, train to Belfast). A short walk to the nearby Spar was great for morning coffee and snacks. We also had dinner at the Ballygally Castle Hotel (walkable) and started our GOT Journey of Doors there (if you’re a fan of the show look this up). It was a bit cold when we were visiting but there’s also a nice beach area if that’s...

「My wife and I loved this place called the "west wing" (it was literally the wing of the main house occupied by our hosts.) It was charming, spacious, clean, and equipped with all one could want for a self-catering accommodation. The grounds were amazing, full of flowers, vegetable patches green house, and the list goes on. Our hosts were so nice as they helped us figure out how to run the washer/dryer (that they had never used themselves). Top notch in every way. 」

「Staying at Altahammond House was truly an amazing experience - from the comfort of the stay, the gorgeous gardens and the exceptional service from Heather and Tom - it made for a fantastic place to stay. We were well looked after from the minute we set foot in the door. Will be returning to Altahammond house and would recommend that others stay here. 」

「The home is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and so homely! The area is a quiet area, it is a barn amongst a lovely quiet plot, which means the views driving in are drop dead gorgeous. Catch the sunset from the house too, its beautiful. The people there are so warm and friendly too. They really treat you like its a home. Rooms are so homely and well prepared and clean. Absolutely loved it here. 」
