This was a wonderful place to stay for the beginning of our holiday.
We were greeted with tea and homemade cakes.
A comfortable and relaxing stay.
The breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t have eaten another thing. Olive is a fantastic cook.
We were made to feel very welcome and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!
Thank you.
Great stopover on the Antrim coast. Spacious room (family/triple) with good views. Nice welcome from James and Olive. Super breakfast. Good value. Handy for the nice little town of Cushendall.
Cullentra House is situated on a lovely hill overlooking the Antrim Coast and the townlands around Cushendall. It's both quiet and super close to the center of town. Olive is such a lovely host, calling to the pub when I arrived late, to make sure I got dinner on a busy weekend, and providing a beautiful and ample breakfast every morning. She is so attentive and welcoming. Go raibh mile maith agat!
This B&B was a great find. Located just outside of the local town with a beautiful view of the Glen. Olive is a wonderful host. Breakfast is a delicious five course meal. You can't go wrong with this stay.
We felt like family from the moment we arrived. A wonderful property with incredible views. Hosts were attentive and helpful. Room was quiet and clean with all the right touches(kettle, fridge, candies, tea etc). Come hungry for the the breakfast as it was served with so many delicious offerings. Thanks again to Olive and James for hosting us. the Gourleys
Cullentra House was a delight and we highly recommend it for your next stay in northeast Ireland. The hostess Olivia, greeted us with hot tea and cakes when we arrived. We stayed in room 6 which was a single double bed room. The furnishings were very nice. The bathroom was completely new, clean and tastefully decorated. The bed linens and covers were first class. Cullentra House offers a common sitting area for the guests. The breakfast offered in the morning featured all and more than most guests would ever ask for. Do not hesitate to try Cullentra House if you are in the area.
Cullentra House is one of the B&B places we have ever stayed. Olive and James are fantastic hosts. We felt so welcome. The room is comfortable and spotless. Olive was kind enough to book and drop us off in town for a drink with our meals. The full Irish breakfast was to die for. We were so impressed with the attention to details Olive and James put into to ensure that we looked after, and that they did so with genuine love at what they do. We highly recommended the experience and would certainly consider coming back again next time we are in Northern Ireland.
Thank You Olive and James!
We stayed at Cullentra House for one night on August 22, 2026 as part of our driving trip along the Coastal Causeway Route. The couple who own the property are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking, and the property is very clean and well maintained. They offered an extensive choice of multiple hot items for breakfast, plus fruit, yogurt, a small smoothie, pastries, etc. I ordered the eggs benedict & was expecting one poached egg, but the order came out with two! It was way more food than I could eat, but I appreciate the care taken in the preparation & presentation, which was lovely. My husband ordered an omelet which was also excellent. You could tell they worked hard & put a good deal of effort into the breakfast preparation.
I would highly recommend this B&B for the good food, clean room, setting, which provides an incredible view & lovely owners.
Definitely a 5/5 B&B! We were so amazed of how great the service was. The breakfast was so amazing as well. They went above and beyond. When we arrived, she made us very comfortable and even served us tea! She gave great recommendations of places to see in the area, and made us a day of itinerary with directions on where to go to see the best sights. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area, and we hope to be back in the future!
Our stay at Cullentra House was one of the highlights of our visit to Country Antrim. The hosts were very kind and generous. The rooms were in perfect order and the breakfast was top chef. Great access to walks in the mountains and on the coast.
Was a wonderful place to spend the night! Comfortable beds and an amazing breakfast!!!
Everyone we met were so helpful and kind!!!!
Would stay there again!!!
The host was adorable and made the stay feel like home. The breakfast provided was plenty with lots of options. Definitely recommend to stay here again.
