This was our second visit thid year...a super place to stay the night before heading home on the ferry. Large well appointed bedroom and first class bathroom. Whilst not a traditional hotel as such, Edenmore Golf & Country Club is much better than that. The General Manager who booked us in could not have been have been any more welcoming and pleasant. Great value all round...we will be back.
Friendly staff at check in and during the stay, room was spacious and luxurious. Golf course was great and staff in pro shop very welcoming, will stay again
Great little hotel, part of the golf club.
Staff very friendly and good communication pre-booking
Reception has limited opening so would check if arrival times are out of the ordinary
Staff great and restaurant was excellent
Perfect stay, relaxing, beautiful room , which had both walk in shower and freestanding bathtub. There was a fridge large selection of tea and coffee and biscuits, super king bed . Loads of storage and space to walk around . Table and chairs to relax , amazing view of golf coarse, restaurant stunning, with 5 star food. And staff very attentive and friendly
Nice hotel and great staff. The only downside was that the hotel bar and restaurant was closed so we had to go into Moira for dinner, which was no great hardship.
Would recommend
Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Very clean and all new. Beautiful setting on a golf course. Our host was friendly, accommodating, and very informative about places to see while in Northern Ireland. My husband played golf and said the course was really well maintained and fun.
I stayed at Edgemore Golf & Country Club from the 16th to 18th July and, quite honestly, it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've had in a long time.
The staff were simply outstanding — the friendliest, most accommodating, helpful, and genuinely passionate team I’ve encountered. From the pre-arrival email to my departure, every interaction was warm and professional.
I spend over 60 days a year on the road, travelling from the Shetland Isles to the Channel Isles, and I genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing during my stay. The hotel itself is superb, and the attached golf course is a hidden gem — beautifully maintained and an absolute pleasure to play.
Even the guests, both in the hotel and on the course, were incredibly friendly, which added to the whole experience.
I’m already planning my return. A real credit to the Northern Ireland hospitality industry. Family business run as a family. Well done and thank you.
Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating— from reception, to the restaurant staff and the proshop (if you are a golfer, there is a great golf course to get in a round or two, which we did). We arrived on a Sunday, and there was an excellent “carvers dinner” that evening. We were accommodated without reservations. The restaurant (beautiful golf course views) is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except for guest breakfasts (very good), so Cherry arranged for sandwiches for us to take out on the course on Monday, and she took care to make sure we had tee times. The primarily members course is very accommodating to visitors / guests. A special thank you to Andrew and Karl. As for the accommodations, the rooms are very new, modern, comfortable and spacious. The location and setting is peaceful and quiet. A short (30 minute) drive to Belfast, we used this as our home base for a week to explore Northern Ireland. We were very pleased with our choice.
A short weekend break in an executive king accessible ground floor room within Edenmore House & Golf Club.
The room was a great size and came with what you’d expect for £149 per room, per night including air conditioning and heating.
Fabulous view overlooking the golf course.
Bed was super comfortable.
Breakfast was amazing too! Not to missed!!
The decor of the room was calming and beautiful.
Black out curtains ensured a lie-in!
Tayto crisps a nice touch - and were dispatched immediately!
Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available in the room.
Friendly and welcoming staff. The Irish don’t know how to be any other way! Thank you!
My only observations, for the price range (and a health and safety perspective), was:
* Box of tissues, rather than toilet roll.
* Towels: bath sheet over bath towel (too small) and too thin.
* No bathmat (used a hand towel to mop up water)
* Shower flooded floor - H+S issue with no bathmat.
* Bath tub not secure + no guide rails for disabled people who would book this accessible room.
* No mirror in main room and had to plug in hairdryer by the door and use long mirror which meant the dryer cable was too short.
These are all small things and didn't ditract from our stay at all but the small details are what finishes off a beautiful hotel room such as this!
Hotel facilities are excellent, and the room was really clean. The concierge service was superb, and they would go out of their way to make my trip comfortable, looking forward to going back.
Such a warm, kind and helpful welcome. A very peaceful, comfortable room overlooking the golf course. Very conveniently located within a 30 minute drive of either Belfast International Airport or Belfast City Airport and of Belfast itself. A lovely breakfast was included in our deal.
We felt like kings of the castle ! The place had a long drive through an impressive gateway, up to an imposing gothic style mansion house. This was the club house for the golf course, and the accommodation was a new addition ( last few months) so everything was clean and modern. Lovely bed and comfortable duvet and a gorgeous bath. Only problem was that we were the sole guests, and the restaurant was shut for dinner. The General Manager kindly offered to drive us to the nearest town so we go to a restaurant there, but as we had a car, we did it ourselves. Perhaps it will be open more in teh summer season. Otherwise, great.
