「Air conditioner did not cool enough to sleep under covers. Required sleeping without covers. Room above us walked heavily and kept us up till midnight. Called front desk for help with no answer. Left exhausted, more tired than if we would have just driven home an additional six hours.」

「Probably the best motel I've stayed during my travel over US. Newly renovated room, everything works, clean, hospitable host. Cotton linen!!!」

「There are safety issues in the bathroom for seniors. No grab bars, no shower mat or stickers in the tub. Tub was very slippery and we had to make sure neither of us fell while taking a shower l. Staff told us we could go to Dollar General down the street. Toilet seat was loose and unstable for senior guests. Could be a liability when someone falls and gets hurt.」

「The night staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We arrived very late without a reservation. Our vehicles included an open trailer carrying a vintage motorcycle and they went above and beyond to accomodate our request for a view of our vehicles in the parking lot from our room. We would love to stay there again.」

「The hotel was staff was horrible. After paying through expedia, they wanted a deposit of $50 and would not take a credit card, finally, they said they would accept a credit card, but would charge and extra fee, not refundable. I stayed many times over the past 10 years, and they never charged a deposit previously. I found dates and charges for the hotel, but they claimed I had never stayed there before-said they looked through there system. Expedia needs to make it clear this hotel charges...

She went out of her way to direct me to where I could get decent food, attraction sites in the city, and most importantly, gave me a brief, but yet educational history of the town itself. Rooms are affordable and the place was quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in this city.」
