「Apartment was as described, clean and tidy. Only a couple of issues, tv in the bedroom had sound but we couldn’t get a picture. The hot water seemed a bit erratic but we managed to figure out that the shower control needed to be moved round but it still ran hot and cold at times. Apartment quite stuffy at night but it was in a heatwave, we did open the windows but the traffic noise very loud. Great location for walking into town, we did the walls early on Sunday morning to avoid the crowds and...

「NO WORKING WINDOWS The photos of the apartments are all mixed up so its not possible to see the actual apartment you will be allocated. The apartment I was allocated had no widow in the bathroom and the air vent did not work. Next to the bathroom is the bedroom which also had no window. There was one window in the living room/kitchen that was painted shut. It was clear that the apartment had not been aired out for a long long time. It was incredibly stuffy and did not smell fresh. The apartment...

「Lovely property, great decor. In a beautiful spot next to the River Dee. Great seeing various boats passing by. Loved sitting out on the patio. The inside of the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner, Chris, keeps in touch to make sure you are happy with everything. Lots of lovely walks nearby, miniature railway in the park at the end of the road. Short walk into Chester. We would definitely like to go back. 」

「A lovely place with all the amenities」

「More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks. We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again.」

「Delightful old cottage , lots of character. Lovely slipper bath . Set in lovey countryside.」
