「Property and staff were great」

「Atmosphere was great. Tucked in by itself with rocky cliffs and lots of pines…scenically sited. Interiors were dated but comfortable. Dining was detached. Beef Brisket was tasty. Breakfast was self-serve. Location was less than 6 miles from Mt. Rushmore.」

「This is a seasonal property so some of the rooms are drive up and I don’t feel as safe. Parking is terrible. Breakfast is limited. 」

「Absolutely will be back. I had a great stay, felt safe, and the staff were all very friendly. The s’mores were also a great finishing touch to a great night 」

「The hotel is very old and run down. 2 floors did not have a working ice machine. The shower in the tub did not work properly or drain properly.」

「This motel is located very close to the Mount Rushmore National Monument, 10 minutes drive only. Staffs are very friendly.」

「The room was awesome! Staff was top notch. One star deducted because we just didnt like our bed. It was a memory foam but was way to stiff for our liking.」

「When we arrived for our 5 night stay, the hotel was closed. We found a worker who verified it was closed and sent us down the street to the Ramada Inn. Come to find out that they had a leak in the sprinkler system which flooded the hotel as they are closed in the winter. We received no notification from Expedia nor Baymont by Wyndham.」

「Confusing parking, not easy to re-lock door. Nasty seasonal large bugs. Dead bugs in room. Expensive for what we got but popular area. But it was quiet and conveniently located.」

「Easy to find, hot breakfast, elevator to upper floors, within walking distance of Main Street.」

「Love this hotel! Friendly staff, nice beds, clean, nice patio. 」

「We got there just as everything was opening. The lodge is clean , comfortable and helpful in showing us where the outside camp kitchen was in order to grill steaks. Sleeping was a little challenging as a bus full of teenagers pulled up and basically ran up and down the halls and stairs all night. Kids will be kids. I was just wondering where are the adults. It was kinda rude and inconsiderate」
