「We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. Our room was gorgeous; modern yet rustic and equipped with everything to make our stay spot on! Staff were lovely and attentive, and breakfast was amazing. 「My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The place is charming and an experience in itself. It is an old house, but the rooms are in a perfect condition and spotlessly clean. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The location is great for exploring the area to the west of London, including Salisbury, Bath and Bristol in a car. 」

「We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. 」

「Breakfast was wonderful. The fresh milk was exceptional on my Museli and fruit! The breakfast bap my husband had was outstanding. Our dinner was absolutely delicious and so creatively served. Highly recommend eating there. Beautifully decorated and clean room. Lovely view of church. The staff were excellent, attentive and supportive. All together a gorgeous place I highly recommend.」

「Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend.」

「Nice clean room, the shower room was a bit tired but fully functional and lots of hot water also the supplied towels were really fluffy. Bed was super comfy and huge. We had a quiet night with no disturbances. Only downside, no glasses for water for overnight/taking tablets but I wouldn't want to be too picky. 」

「The room was spotless and so much bigger than we expected. The modern decor and amenities were excellent. It even had a little Christmas tree which added to our Christmasy break. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.」
