「Room was good, bed comfy, shower worked well. It’s in the middle of town so there is some noise, especially on a Saturday night, but to be expected. Checking in was easy although it would have been helpful to have two room keys. The woman on the desk did not seem entirely in the same world as everyone else. 「Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was a little tired. A big car park for about 14 cars was a big plus. The road system is a little complicated and busy, so advanced planning how to access the car park is recommended. The full English Breakfast was provided bang on time and was adequate. I would suggest that they introduce cornflakes, marmalade and any fresh fruit or yoghurts. We also had to ask for second cups of coffee/tea.」

「Parking was only ok because we arrived late in the day on a Saturday and were able to park on the street outside for free. Any other day and I think you’d have to pay to park on the high street. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Only stayed one night so no complaints. Pinos across the road was excellent for dinner. 」

「Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! 」
