「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. 「The staff was very cordial, very helpful when I asked about getting a hairdresser nearby. The check in staff took the initiative to look for one online and I was able to get an appointment shortly afterwards. 「After spending our days walking and biking New Orleans, this hotel was a lovely retreat for us. It is centrally located and easy to spend an evening in the French Quarter and walk back to. The courtyard was amazing. Also the street car line stops a couple blocks either way (on Rampart).」

「First know that this quaint little hotel is at the far end of the French Quarter. It was not a problem for us but there’s no close places to go to eat. I can’t take anything away because I didn’t know that. The hotel is a historic mansion so as an older property it has it’s eccentricities.
