Not recommended

Checkin available only 5-8 PM. My room was very small and uncomfortable. The area is worst fior a hotel. My room was kept very cold. To save energy- I normally lik cold but that was too cold. 3% surcharge was added for paying with credit card. The manager is obviously trying to squeeze out every penny for this facility. There were much better options for equal or lower price in the Cologne area but I got stuck with this bad choice.

Short stay

I needed to stay near Cologne with my daughter for a couple of nights. It is in the middle of nowhere, but a great corner shop nearby helps. Clean, not particularly spacious, but well setup and functional. Host was really helpful and spoke good English which was great. Beds were pretty firm and towels could be bigger.

Die Rezeption ist nicht von 9.00- 20.00 Uhr besetzt. So steht nur in der Buchungsbestätigung. Tatsächlich kann nur von 17.00- 20.00 Uhr eingecheckt werden, was dort auch angeschrieben ist. Für einen Städtetrip ist das nicht empfehlenswert. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig und überall knarren die Fußbodendielen.

Whatever you do, DON'T try to move any furniture around in this hotel; the owner freaked out and ended up charging us for some 'broken hinge' which we have absolutely zero knowledge about (without even informing us of the matter, and taking money from a card which had very little money left on it, resulting in further overdraft fees for myself). I even tried to pay for these alleged damages with a different card after the fact, but even this was too much. The problem is that the money that was on that card was for getting home to Canada, now I have to beg & scrape by to get home. I cancelled my credit card as he threatened my wife with further charges from it; we are currently dealing with the police, as this move really messed our plans up (she just got her visa to come to Canada with me). Also the dishes were dirty, we had to buy our own toilet paper for the bathroom, I had to pay an extra 75 euros for 5 nights because I brought my wife (even though the room remained the same), and there was constant noise from some beeping thing in the empty room beside us (which is why my wife moved her bed next to mine in the first place; she couldn't sleep). This all could have been avoided with more communication. If the owner would at least have notified me of this 'broken hinge,' we could have dealt with this matter maturely. As it is, he's been hanging up on both my wife and myself, and won't respond to emails. This is the only time I've ever left a bad review on a hotel.

Dårlig lydisolering. Knirk i gulver. Umulig å sove , hørte alle andre gjester dersom de gikk på toalett om natten, både gange over gulv og dører.

家のように寛げ、田舎のドイツが楽しめる

中心地から1時間弱と遠いですが、周りの家々の雰囲気がとても可愛く、田舎のドイツ暮しをしている気分になりました。 ホテル自体も家を改造したもので、普通のホテルと違い伸び伸びと過ごすことが出来ました。 ただ最寄りのバス停までが昼間でも30分に1本と交通の便は良くないです

Très intéressant

Coin assez en retrait de la ville de Cologne, trajet en voiture obligatoire. Malgré tout l'hôtel est situé dans un quartier résidentiel typique allemand, assez chaleureux. Nous avons eut le droit a une grande chambre,très grande et agréable.

Great experience in Pullham

Great stay. Very friendly personell. Excellent conditions at the best price. I recommend it to anybody who wants to have a confortable stay in a quiet country town.
