We had a fabulous time at this stunning property. The staff were extremely friendly, there was a large breakfast buffet, a welcome pack with goodies for every visitor. The was a piano and a funny parrot. Views across the river. We highly recommend staying here

A quirky hotel with a mini bird zoo. A talking parrot in the courtyard. It has a well being vibe. Room was large on fine very non corporate. Breakfast good everyone was very quiet in there !

Nice location, but need to be updated.

Very old and picturesque house/hotel. Common areas was decorated as an art exhibition. We were surprised to get a little 'goody-bag' including ear plugs and knitted night-shield (glasses) - At first we thought was to give an upscale feeling (like when you travel first class on an airline). However, this was due to the squeaky original wood floors in the entire building and the sounds from above floors when people moved around or moved furniture around (?), and to dim the light from the translucent curtains to the two streetlights just outside the rooms 2 windows - this was quit upsetting. Breakfast was good, and kind staff. Fun little town at the brink of the Rhine River.

It was listed as Hotel with restaurant but there no restaurant. However, nice Italian restaurant short walk away. Not a good place when you have a lit of luggage: a lit of stairs. Large and spaious room, oldfashioned dekoration. Friendly staff.

alte Zimmer; Wände hellhörig; gutes Frühstück

Da mein Hotel in dem ich sonst immer unterkomme, ausgebucht war, war ich nun zum zweiten Mal im RiverGuesthouse. Das Gebäude ist schon etwas älter. Die Holzdecken/-böden und Treppen knatschen, sodass man jeden Schritt der anderen Gäste hören kann. Auch Gespräche, der Fernseher oder das Schnarchen aus dem Zimmer drüber oder nebenan sind nicht zu überhören Dadurch ist ein erholsamer Schlaf nicht wirklich möglich...ab 5 Uhr trampelt der ein oder andere bereits los. Auch die Heizung ist sehr laut, die Heizkörper uralt, aber heizen gut. Der Hotelbetreiber hat wenigstens Ohropax im Zimmer bereitgelegt. Die Fotos der Zimmer sind sehr geschickt gewählt/fotografiert, sodass es auf den Bilder schöner aussieht, als es in Wirklichkeit ist. Die Bäder sind entsprechend dem Gebäudealter auch nicht wirklich einladend. Im Dachgeschoss ist ein Bad wo man, aufgrund der Dachschräge, nicht gerade in der Dusche stehen kann. Auch das Licht auf dem Zimmer ist nicht ausreichend hell. Die Möbel sind auch insgesamt sehr alt, die Kommode im Bad hat wohl schonmal Wasser gesehen, da das Holz unten leicht aufgequollen ist. Positv zu bewerten ist, dass genug kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden sind, das Frühstück (Brötchen vom Bäcker; ausreichend Auswahl; auf Wunsch Ruhrei, sowie guter Apfel- und O-Saft), das Personal und die Sauberkeit im Allgemeinen. Leider findet das Frühstück nicht vor 7 Uhr statt, was für Geschäftsreisende nicht immer von Vorteil ist. 6:30 Uhr wäre deutlich besser für mich gewesen.

Einfach toll

Direkt am Rhein gelegen, ist dieses Guesthouse sehr empfehlenswert. Wir haben dort lediglich übernachtet, aber waren von der Optik begeistert. Eine Nachfrage ergab, dass dieses Haus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert stammt und immer wieder erweitert wurde. Das erklärt auch die vielen Türen, bis man sein Zimmer erreicht hat😁. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und immer wieder entdeckt man kleine Ecken, die zum verweilen einladen. Ein kleiner Privatzoo komplettiert das Ensemble. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Wir kommen wieder 👍.

Schön gelegenes Hotel am Rhein. Im Innenhof sind einige Voliere mit Tauben und Wellensittiche usw. toll für Kinder Da es ein altes Haus ist sind schiefe Treppen und schlecht schließende Türen zu entschuldigen Sauberes Zimmer. GemeinschaftsBad ist ungewöhnlich

Dieses Gästehaus bietet eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Man ist von Kunst umgeben, der Rhein ist direkt vor der Tür und die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist kreativ einzigartig. Ich komme wieder!

Das Gästehaus in einem Haus aus dem Jahre 1666 hat eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer, in denen ich hier bisher übernachtet habe, sind alle sehr unterschiedlich, von edel bis sehr einfach. Alles Notwendige ist da und das Personal kam meinen Wünschen nach. Überall sind ungewöhnliche in die Stille einladende Kunstwerke. Ein guter Ort zum Entspannen oder auch unterwegs zu übernachten. Persönlicher Tipp: ein Zimmer mit Rheinblick wählen.
