「Very unique hotel. So cool living onboard a floating hotel for the night. The room décor is lovely, as is the rest of the boat, and the staff onboard could not be nicer or more helpful. The breakfast was amazing (smoked salmon starter and full Scottish breakfast) and any time we called for items to be brought to our room, the service was super fast. It is not the cheapest but all in all, an excellent hotel and well worth a visit for a special occasion or just a well earned treat.」

「The hotel is clean and quiet. Room is cozy and well decorated. However, it is a pity that there is no lift in the hotel, we had to carry luggages to the 1st floor. The restauant is great and the view is wonderful. 」

「I originally thought it would be a guesthouse quality in terms of cleanliness, but turned out it’s even cleaner than a hotel especially the bathroom. Everything looks new in the bathroom with a lot of towels available and the shower gel, shampoo etc. Reception is very nice and location is near bus stops where you can get to Edinburgh centre quite easily.」

「Hotel in general need of a ‘spruce up’, noisy and the breakfast staff weren’t the most helpful. However check in/reception was excellent, the Arran products were lovely, bar staff great and the parking was the main feature. It’s in a gorgeous location and is overall a great hotel. I waited good 20 mins, ringing the bell next to the shut-down reception window and no one responded. Finally just walked up to next door to inquire and found that’s where the check-in happens.
