"Entering the property was very off putting. I regretted the booking as the stairwell was dirty musty and stunk of marijuana. The apartment itself was very clean and bed was comfortable. I have to say it was overall one of the worst stays of any apartment ive booked . Extremely noisy from neighbours in unit 4 and from party goers loudly hanging out at the NCP car park. "This property is in disrepair and is not being maintained. One part of the floor is sinking and propped by loose boards. There is an overall smell of mildew/mold throughout the place, and most of the surfaces need a good cleaning. In the bathroom the shower tap is rigged so that you cannot increase the temperature past a moderate level, and the shower door is falling off the frame. I also came across many spiders. "

"The hotel was lovely and was in a great location. Breakfast and dinner was nice. One slight issue was my room was left open by a cleaner who did not return with the towels they were supposed to, so I had I not returned to my room, the door would have been left open. I told a member of reception staff who said a manager would call me but never received the call at all. So I would not advise leaving any valuables in the room unattended. Anyone could have literally walked into my room and helped themselves. Other than this mishap, my stay was very nice… and the swimming pool, sauna and steam room was an excellent treat."

"Still happy with this hotel (4th stay) but be aware the reduced parking rate has been removed due to NCP carpark going into administration although the info is still on the welcome email. Front desk advised if parking in Churchill Square carpark we could only be charged for 24hrs but sadly this is not the case so parking cost us £64. Would have to factor this in if we were to choose the Maldron again."

"We had a perfectly pleasant, standard stay at the Queens Hotel; the rooms were clean and absolutely fine. The only slight disappointment was regarding flexibility around timing. I had requested a simple one-hour late checkout for genuine reasons and was promptly charged a £20 fee. While I completely understand and respect hotel policies, it did feel a bit rigid especially since, I stay at the Queens hotel at least one to two times every year and there have been times in the past where my room wasn't even ready for check-in by 4:00 PM, and I've happily waited without making a fuss. It's those small, mutual courtesies that really elevate a guest's experience. That being said, it certainly didn't ruin the trip, and we would still happily visit the hotel again in the future."

"The room was clean but the lack of air conditioning really let it down. Although we stayed in a particularly warm spell, I imagine that it would be pretty uncomfortable a lot of the time. It was difficult to sleep due to the heat. The staff were really friendly but not particularly efficient in the Sports Bar. Many people were queuing for quite some time to get a drink. The vegetarian options in the Sports Bar were extremely limited. The option picked was awful but a refund was given without any issues. The non-vegetarian choices made were ok but nothing special for the prices charged. It put us off dining in the restaurant. Breakfast was ok and could have been improved by different coffee options, more fresh fruit, and better quality pastries. Labels on items would have helped those with dietary issues/restrictions. All in all we did enjoy our stay but a few tweaks would have made it somewhere to return to."
