"From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the rooms are clean, the beds are soft and the AC not only works really good, its QUIET! Close to the road so easy to get in and out. Breakfast was nice just your average continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again if I ever needed to. And its quiet! "

If cloudcroft had more hotels with more waitstaff and stayed open til 9, it would be great. Music venues would be nice. Liked the Bigfoot entreprises experience. Its a good place to learn to ski. It has nice shops, and its close to other towns.

Cloudcroft is in the Sacramento Mountains at about 8500 foot elevation. Forests and wildlife are abundant. Temperatures are quite refreshing in the summer compared to the desert below.

It's definitely a small town so if you arrive late, plan to eat what you have with you for a late dinner. It's cute, there's so many shops and everyone was friendly!
