This is beautiful property and the grounds are well maintained. My only negative is that we had a river view room and the view was obscured by spiders and spider webs.

1000 Island Inn is a great place to stay when visiting Clayton, New York. You can walk to a variety of stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. Being right on the water gives you beautiful views. There is plenty of parking. They have a nice indoor pool. We enjoyed the on site restaurant.

The staff were very welcoming when we arrived. Our room had a balcony and river view, which was fantastic. We did have a slow-draining sink, but the staff fixed it right away. Having free coffee and tea on each floor in the morning was a real treat. The walkway by the water and short walk into town was a great benefit as well. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in the area.

The staff was wonderful, the hotel and grounds were impeccable, only things to improve upon? The hot water took a long time to warm up, and the dinner served at the restaurant was below average for the price point.

We really loved this hotel. In previous visits to Clayton, I always saw this beautiful hotel and wanted to finally stay the night there. It exceeded our expectations. The resort was very elegant and well maintained. The patio is gorgeous and the pool/ hot tub were comfortable temperatures. This is the place to stay when visiting Clayton.
