"We stayed at Black Rock Oceanfront Resort for four nights in mid April of 2026. We booked a studio suite through Expedia and were overjoyed with the room selection - lots of room, a very comfortable bed, a well appointed bathroom and a stunning view of both the rainforest and the ocean! We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant on three mornings and ate supper there once. The breakfast options were excellent but I was slightly less impressed with the supper options. The overall amenities were excellent but the true value of the resort is location! Set in the middle of the Wild Pacific Trail, we had direct access to stunning walking trails and spectacular sunsets! We are seriously considering a return visit to the Black Rock Oceanfront Resort! It was just that good!!"

"Our stay at the Best Western Tin Wis was great. Great location - on a nice, walkable beach. Room was a good size. Bed was very comfortable. Well-stocked small kitchenette. Even a stovetop included. The bathroom was clean and nice - the only complaint is that the size of the bathroom was small…especially compared to the nice size of the rest of the room. Brown’s Social House provides a nice breakfast every morning with lots of choices. The restaurant is great for other meals, too. Overall a great choice for the Tofino area."

"Overall, an amazing place. Stunning location, beautiful property, fantastic continental breakfast included. Loved hanging out in the lodge by the huge fireplace looking out on to the ocean. The one beef I have is that we assumed from our booking on Hotels.com that we were getting a single cabin with ocean view. In fact, it was a triplex cabin with significant sound transfer between rooms and floors. I enquired with management and they said it was a Hotels.com issue. It is a lovely place, but just make sure you know what type of unit you are getting."

"Duffin Cove was an amazing getaway. The view from the room was spectacular and we loved sitting out before sunset and enjoy the view. Beds were super comfortable as well as spatious bathroom."

"We had a wonderful stay in Tofino. The bungalow features a beautiful modern West Coast design—clean, stylish, and perfectly suited to the natural surroundings. The deluxe outdoor cooking area and barbecue were a standout, making it easy to enjoy meals outside. We especially loved the cedar hot tub and the covered private patio, which felt cozy, peaceful, and perfect in any weather. Only a two minute walk to the beach and the epic waves, white sand and sunsets. The experience was made even better by the very pet-friendly atmosphere, which made traveling with our dog easy and enjoyable. And kudos to the staff—warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. A great balance of comfort, style, and that classic West Coast feel."
