"Could hear every single word of every song from the bar next door from about 3:30pm until 1:30am both nights we were there. Wasn't even a good live band. I tried earplugs but could even hear the bass through them. "

"It was okay, but air conditioning was not working the first night and it was miserable. Staff suggested keeping curtains closed so the sun didn’t heat up the room and maybe opening windows at night. Gave us a small oscillating fan. Between the heat and the street noise from the open window, I slept maybe 3 hours. They got the ac fixed on day two, but still no ability to adjust temperature in individual rooms. The location is great for the attractions, and literally right across the street from the Avalon. But I wouldn’t stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Parsonage. The property and room were kept well. The staff were sweet and attentive. Very good location as far as walking distance to shops, restaurants and the waterfront area. I would certainly return and certainly recommend to anyone visiting St. Michael’s. "

"Disappointing. The hotel is lovely but the staff are in training mode and don’t get things quite right. They didn’t tell us there was an Easter brunch so we missed breakfast on Sunday as they had booked out the dining room and everything in town was already full. The food was nice but relatively expensive. When it rains there is nowhere to sit that is not the room or the pub. The pool despite being advertised was not yet open for the season which was of the main reasons we chose the hotel. "

"The room was fine, but the service was not. The staff came across as unfriendly, and the manager was outright passive-aggressive. I booked this hotel specifically because it’s advertised as pet-friendly, yet there was no mention of a $60 pet fee when I made the reservation. When I questioned it, the manager’s response was that other hotels charge $100—which completely misses the point. Be upfront about your fees. To make matters worse, there was a leak in my room. When I reported it, I was told it was coming from the third floor and that I could move rooms. By that point, it was highly inconvenient, and no real effort was made to resolve the situation or accommodate me. Overall, not a great experience. Transparency and basic customer service were lacking."

"Emmy at the front desk was awesome! Appreciated having great hours for breakfast and the pool / hot tub. "The Highway Side" had a lot of charm, and is a good distance below the actually highway. Nice grassy areas for the dogs to sniff. "
