"The other guests were very noisy throughout the night. The light from the pool area shone so brightly through the blinds and curtains it was almost daylight all night in the bedroom. No storage space for clothes and parking was off site. On the plus side the staff were all very friendly and helpful and it's well situated for a lot of things, if not the beach."

"Nice location. Only big downfall was check in. The resort is huge and there wasn't a big enough front desk to accommodate check in. They had two-three people working but the process was slow and the line long. We gave them our bags and left to have something to eat. We returned about 90 minutes later and the line was even longer. So we waited."

"We had never visited the area prior to this visit. Really didn't know what to expect. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! Arrived way too early to check in. We were able to stash our luggage at the desk so we could start our vacation. Staff suggested a great lunch place and offered to text us as soon as our room was ready. The location was AWESOME! Walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see. Definitely have brunch at Blue Heaven, lunch or drinks at Ramshead, Cuban food at El Siboney is to die for. After spending the mornings out and about, we headed for the pool. Our room was always clean and restocked to perfection daily! The bar on premises is superb! They actually infuse their own alcohols. Start or end your evening with their signature cocktails. An exceptional adults only establishment! Go visit ASAP! "

"This was the perfect Key West trip. We go down approximately every other year, and have stayed in a number of hotels and guest houses. This was absolutely the best, and we will be hard-pressed to stay anywhere else in the future. Our room? Freshly renovated, 1st floor, 50 feet from their wonderful restaurant, 25 feet from the very refreshing pool. Clean and quiet, with 2 nice chairs right outside our door in a little alcove. The location? Right on Duval Street, near the southern end. Close enough to the action but still quiet and peaceful. Lots of nice restaurants an easy stroll away. The amenities? Beside the pool, an excellent restaurant and a couple of bars. At night there was great live music in the cocktail lounge for an evening nightcap before retiring. There was a complimentary breakfast in the outdoor restaurant each morning. The service was friendly and the food was superb. Downsides? Parking is always a problem in Key West, but we left our car at the golf cart rental place, and managed to find parking for our golf cart close by every day and evening. This was not an inexpensive stay. $550/night + tax, but we both felt it was worth every penny."

"The almond tree Inn is right on Duval Street walking distance for everything that you need to go see. Breakfast is wonderful delicious fresh. The rooms are amazing. The staff is above beyond a blessing. My Husband and I have come to this place for the last five years we’ve looked to stay at other places, but we’re always drawn back to the almond tree Inn. We are forever grateful for the staff. They are such a blessing. The invite is warm and welcoming and look forward to many years of coming and staying with the gang at the almond tree Inn. "

"I had an ocean front suite is was wonderful. The room was very clean and well presented. I ate the restaurant a few times during my stay and it was perfect everytime. I also used the fitness center and valet and everything was wonderful. "

"It had an old world charm to it. The location was very central to everything. The only recommendation I would make is to have more lounge chairs at the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful!!!"
