Check in was at 3pm. We waited in the bar with our suitcases until 4:30 because our room wasn't ready. Several others were also waiting in the bar. Why the bar? That's also the check-in/check-out. It's also the ONLY place to get ice. It's also where you get breakfast and coffee. Once in the room, the toilet lid was broken and kept falling off -we eventually just laid it on the floor. The shower gel bottle was completely empty. There was no ice bucket. The closet is a shared closet in the hallway for the entire floor. There were a couple blankets, a couple towels and washcloths, a coffee pot, toothbrushes, and toothpaste in the shared closet. No ice buckets. Still empty when we checked out. Also, nobody told us where to find this; we just happened upon an employee in the elevator who told us we should have an ice bucket in our "stash closet." After searching the room with no luck, we found it in the hallway. The only good thing was the shower had plenty of hot water. I felt sorry for the 2-3 employees trying to keep up with people checking in, checking out, asking questions/complaining, serving drinks, serving breakfast/ pastries/coffee, providing items the closets are out of, and filling ice buckets. Terrible experience.
