「The rooms are spacious and set up for a longer stay with kitchenette and washing machine and dryer. The staff were lovely, the hotel felt friendly. It is very close to Parliament and easy to walk to the waterfront. I loved the swimming pool!」

「This was ideal for what we needed in Wellington. Centrally located with the cable car within 300m meaning we could walk to the harbour side or catch the cable up to Zelandia & the botanical gardens. Loads of restaurants within a 10 minute stroll. Rooms large, comfortable & well equipped.」

「I really enjoyed my stay. The Bucket Tree is very iconic, with colonial style architecture, lovely park-like surroundings and that giant bucket-shaped tree in front. I arrived in the middle of a heavy rainstorm, so really appreciated the warm and cosy room. I had a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Beautiful kitchenette and bathroom. Everything was lovely and clean and the service was great. I stayed for two nights and my room was cleaned each day. Would definitely stay here again....
