Hotel Onda Verde

"The hotel was exceptionally well maintained. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Perfect for couples or adults. I wouldn't bring young children from a practical perspective. As the hotel is built into the side of the cliff there isn't much open space at all for them to run about - this is in relation to the while area rather than the hotel itself. But the nooks and cranny's make it perfect for couples as it's so atmospheric, cosy and private. Recommend getting the ferry back to Naples rather than taxi. It was so easy and extended the holiday! Also recommend the courgette pasta - so delicious! :)"

"We had a great stay. Our room was very clean and mostly quiet, though there was a party one night. The AC was really good. We found the bed hard but asked about this the following day and a topper was added which made the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent (apart from Disney tracks on loop!). Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The pool and bar area has an incredible view with sun loungers. Having visited some other towns we felt that Praiano was definitely the best place to stay on the Amalfi coast with a great selection of restaurants and easy to navigate."

"Our stay at Le Fioriere was absolutely fantastic. We arrived at Positano from Naples by Ferry, gorgeous picture postcard view of Positano made us first wonder if we made the right decision to stay further away. If you don’t have lot of luggage you can take the bus, for the SITA bus (govt) you can buy online tickets and costs 3.50 euros, a 10 min taxi will cost you (hold your breath) $60-$70 euros. From bus stop (Praiano stop #6) to the hotel is a 3-4 min walk. Rosalia who is the owner welcomed us and took us to our room. The first thing that caught my attention was the fragrance in the room and hotel. The views of the bay from the hotel and balcony is absolutely breathtaking, we dropped everything and just sat and enjoyed. We loved the bright colored room and everything was clean. Breakfast was sumptuous and had a variety of options from fresh fruits, ham, cheese, pastries, eggs, croissants, coffee, tea, juices. We dined at the roof top restaurant only once, food was ok but view of the sunset and ambience was a 5 star experience. There is grocery store, restaurants, convenience store, scooter rentals all within 5-7 min walk. You can take the bus to Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento. Praiano is lot less crowded and we loved it. Rosalia and Luigi were super helpful in answering all our questions, giving us recommendations of local places. If we ever visit Praiano again will definitely stay here again."

"It is unclear if an email was missed prior to check-in, but MAKE SURE you have the information email for checking in. Getting to these locations in Praiano is quite difficult. Expect to navigate a lot of stairs and travel on foot 10-20 minutes anywhere you want to go. The Amalfi Coast is GORGEOUS, and you absolutely get a deal staying in Praiano and at this location. That being said, the logistics of getting around are very challenging and inconsistent. The host was extremely communicative and helpful once we got their contact information. They helped us navigate the main places to go. If you are expecting a relaxing vacation here akin to an all-inclusive, you should re-evaluate the Amalfi Coast. Praiano specifically, you have to walk 60+ stairs to even get to the bus, which is infrequent and inconsistent. Most often, you will be navigating .5 - 1 mile of travel anywhere you want to get to and 200+ stairs. The marina is over a 30-minute walk and very difficult to traverse. A lounge day by the beach comes with many logistics. This is not a reflection of the property, but the location of Praiano itself. I did not quite realize what we were getting into. The room and balcony were beautiful. The views are unmatched!"

"This place was PERFECT!! Location perfect, views were million dollar views from the rooms, hotel restaurants, hotel pool, everywhere. We loved it here. Staff was amazing. We often stay at St Regis, Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton hotels and this hotel is on par with those in reference to views, staff, etc. This place is a smaller boutique version of those. You will love it"

"The setting is spectacular! The hotel is immaculate and very well maintained. Loved the patio and the bathroom had a good layout with a nice shower. Breakfast is nice and the staff is attentive, helpful, and kind. Marina Di Praia is such a cute and secluded spot on the otherwise hectic coast. There aren’t affordable ferry services to and from here, so you need to take a bus or taxi to get around. We took a bus to Amalfi one day and took the ferry from there to and from other towns. Another perk to the hotel is that it’s next to one of the greatest restaurants we ate at while we were in Italy—Trattoria Armandino. Overall a lovely place to stay!"
