"Friendly front desk"

"Gas leak at 12am. Had to evacuate and leave. No staff on duty was helping out. Need full refund. I had to find a motel at 12am with a pregnant wife. "

"The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast and afternoon happy hour was very nice and gave us time to meet our neighbors. The ocean view was stellar just beautiful I must say. The things that were wrong, in fairness I did not raise with staff as I don’t think it’s up to them nor could they do much such as: There was a plumbing circulating pump or refrigerant line gurgling loudly.At night it made it tougher to sleep in room 304 (noise is behind the TV) all night long. I made a recording if you want it. Many of the general building doors don’t fully close but that’s minor. A suggestion would be to light the parking lot some, it’s super dark at night. A nice experience but the facilities could use a wee bit of TLC."

"The hotel is a bit older, but very clean. I love that there was no carpet (carpets are gross). I was very surprised we were charged a parking fee for each day. "

"Arrived to check in and found no one in the office, there was a video screen with someone asking "can I help you"? I couldn't hear them so I motioned for my wife to come in. Well she, being about to hear a fly fart, couldn't hear either! An older gentleman walked up and started yelling at her, the lady onscreen, turn it up! turn your mic up! Never could hear!!! We had reservations for a deluxe room with king bed and sleeper sofa, didn't get it, charged a $4.99 fee on top of the quoted "Hotels.com" price. Black hairs all over the room especially the bathroom! Was not an enjoyable night!!! So glad we only had to stay one night!!! The sad thing is it had great reviews, don't know how that happened???"

"I thought the breakfast last Fri and Sat was really awful. The grits or whatever that was were greasy and the fruit wasn ‘t cold. Hard to get in or out of the shower and the air conditioner makes way way way too much noise."
