Des Weiteren war es nicht sauber und Ć¼berall waren Ameisen, Boden, KĆ¼chenschrƤnken, am KĆ¼hlschrank - auch auf den Betten. "35 years after last staying at this place, we returned for a long weekend. Perfect staff, remarkable food in a Michelin starred restaurant, and lovely grounds. "ChĆ¢teau de FĆØre is set in an extraordinary location, and the setting alone makes it well worth a stop. The historic chĆ¢teau and its grounds have a real sense of grandeur that is difficult to find elsewhere. The hotel itself is a little tired in places, but everything is perfectly functional. In many ways, that adds to its character and authenticity, rather than feeling like another polished but generic five star chain hotel. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily return."
