Shower was leaking, hairdryer didn't work, TV required a code which was different every day so we had to call somebody to come and set it,they didn't clean the room the next day, the last day we didn't have breakfast as on Saturdays they serve it from 10am but we had to leave at 9am, at checkout they charged us for items at the fridge that we didn't take. Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace

"Easy check in. Friendly and welcoming reception staff. Spacious twin room, tea/coffee in the room with extras supplied when requested. Bath and shower in bathroom and a loo that did everything but cook the dinner! Good quality bed linen and great comfy pillows.
Negative - flex not long enough for the hair dryer to see into a mirror. Needs addressing.
Did not eat there but had a take away breakfast from the coffee shop. Presented in a box and was lovely.
Near plenty of shops and restaurants. Walkable to key sights. Easy for guides to pick up from.

Chinggis Khaan Hotel

"The onsite massage place was perfect - I went twice for a 90-minute massage ! Next to the Chinggis Khaan Hotel is the eMart which has everything you need - including a 24-hour laundromat on the 3rd floor. Staff wasn't very personable but was still helpful.Even on the highest floor there were still sirens and honking - which is everywhere in Ulaanbaatar."

"Breakfast was excellent - though during tourist season a lot of the stuff kept running out quickly and it was hard to keep up demand for certain foods. The rooms were massive and had a great view overlooking the city and staff was extremely helpful and nice!"
