"This was our seventh trip to hotel Mousai. We love this property and visit often. I have to say, this time I was extremely dissapointed. It looks like they are compromising on quality with the expansion of the property with a new building popping up each year. The north tower rooms had many many issues with many things not working in the room including plumbing issues in the shower not draining. The rooftop lunch has drastically decreased it’s quality, the food and drinks used to consistently be good, but not anymore. The service from staff have also worsened. We have never received such poor service. There were eight of us traveling and everyone in my group had the same issues."

"The place was nice when we arrived. There was an issue with our room. We did not have electric electricity for about two hours when we arrived. We arrived there at 4 PM and the power was out due to some construction and it was not back on till 6 PM. The staff was pretty good they would follow up. The only thing that I disliked was the pushy sales tactics regarding a presentation that takes about two hours with a breakfast and they try to throw in some perks like a discounted massage. You have to be plain and just tell them no unless you are interested in the presentation besides that the hotel was in good shape. It was very clean. The butler was very good. He would reach out to me a couple times per day. Also, our Jacuzzi was not working for about a day. I did contact them about that and they did send somebody to fix it. It was pretty fast, but I’ve stayed at many five star resorts and never experienced anything like this with the no electricity and then the Jacuzzi not working, but besides that the place is definitely good but I would go back and maybe try another one. The sister resort is maybe a five minute trolley ride and you can see the ocean or be in the ocean, but the beach there is not very nice. It has a lot of rocks."

"Overall, we had a good experience at the hotel. The quality of the food and restaurants was truly excellent, and we were very satisfied with that aspect. However, the issue we faced was that the hotel has a newer 5-star building and an older 4-star section. We booked our stay under the impression that it was a 5-star hotel, but the room we were given was in the older section, and we were not informed about this difference. We only realized this when our friends arrived one day later and were assigned rooms in the newer building with much better amenities, even though we had all paid the same price. This was quite disappointing for us."
