Good: Location was not in the main area but in a good spot with parking and ocean access, short walk to caves. Food was good and decently priced. Olas Permanentes was great. A lovely and accommodating staff, great restaurant with a delicious complementary breakfast. Not to mention it’s right on the most beautiful beach which is also a premier place to learn surfing. It’s rustic, but exactly as described, and what I expected. Amazing sunsets into the ocean. The staff is friendly and attentive, though they can be hard to reach during busy periods. While the accommodations are functional, they are very basic. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment; after a poor experience at our first included breakfast, we chose to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay. To make matters worse, we were charged for that breakfast at checkout despite it being part of our package. The amenities are also quite limited—the pool is tiny, with only three lounge chairs, and because the restaurant is open to the public, the area was often crowded with non-guests and sand from the beach. It’s an okay stay for the price, but I wouldn’t return.

Good location on the beach. Other than that there was only negatives. I couldn’t get in when I arrived from a delayed flight despite reaching out earlier in the day. The AC did not work and there was no response when I mentioned this to them on WhatsApp. The bathroom had hair all over the shower and clearly had not been cleaned.
