「This property is an upgrade of an old motor lodge. It’s in an older, somewhat industrial part of town. It has the limitations of the old motor lodge design, outside entry doors, wall mounted air conditioners and cars parked right outside the windows. It has been updated and is clean. The staff was helpful and responsive. There are maintenance items (toilet paper holder pulled from the mounting screws.) The beds were ok but not high end. If I was passing through Pendleton again I would...

「We do not care for chain hotels because we like local color, so we took a shot and are glad we did. This property is quaint, well-maintained, and it is very clear that the gentleman who runs it has added a lot of little extras to make it homey. Beautiful roses lining the property and a very well-equipped and decorated breakfast area. It's a tad off the beaten path, but not too, too far, and worth a few extra miles.」

「The air conditioner would cool down to 68 and then turn off until it hit 70 degrees and then turn back on for about 15 minutes. It would cycle like that about once an hour. The room stayed a little warm all night.」

「No elevator . If you aren’t’ staying on the first floor you will be forced to lug every single piece of. Luggage you need up to the one of the next few floors. Whatever happened to the Americans Withdrawal Disabilities Act? The corners of the hotel were by the doors dirty. The whirlpool was heated but the jets did not work… so much for a relaxing time.」

「The check in staff was efficient, friendly, and courteous. The room and bed were very comfortable, and pool veiw is lovely. Breakfast was ok. Hotel is conveniently located for travel, and reasonably priced compared to others nearby.」
