"What a little gem. From the moment we booked in everyone was so kind and helpful. Our room was The Kestrel. The room was large, very clean, warm had a decent sized smart tv. A lovely bath room with under floor heating a double sized walk in shower, with toiletries and soft towels. We had our evening meal and breakfast there and both meals were delicious and hot. We can’t wait to go back "

"A loverly village inn with great food and real ales. Very comfortable bed and room very clean. Shower was clean and they water hot. In all a very comfortable stay. We were, attending a wedding at Leez Priory which as 5 mins away. Local Chelmsford cabs serve the Leez so transport back was very easy. "
