We've rounded up all the info you need to make your journey a pleasant experience. Follow our tips and you'll be speeding through airport security and seeing the best of Ste Anne de Beaupre in no time flat. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a great experience if you carry the right things. First of all you'll need toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a fresh change of clothes and a good book. Secondly, leave space in your carry-on bag for your mobile phone, a charger, any medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel documents and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and matches, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are no place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfy clothing and opt for shoes that are flat and easy to take on and off.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of sitting. To lower your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and move your legs and feet often.
