Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a pleasant experience if you're well organized. We've put together a list of handy travel tips that will get your Quero vacation started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy — first, pack your passport, travel documents, credit cards and vital medications. Next, you'll need some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy novel and a tablet filled with your favorite movies are some wonderful options. If you hope to take a quick nap, a comfy neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, squeeze in a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll hop off the plane looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have sharp objects (like a knife or scissors) hiding in one of the compartments of your carry-on luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable goods, such as fuel and fireworks, and liquids and gels in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfortable clothing and opt for shoes that are flat, enclosed and easy to slip on and off.
- The result of lengthy periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers during long-haul flights. Reduce the risks by staying hydrated, keeping your legs and feet moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
