• Comfort should be your prime concern when choosing what to wear on board. Consider your choice of footwear with care too, as swelling of the feet and ankles are quite common. Flat, slightly roomy shoes are always a sensible way to go.
• Unfortunately, a risk of long-distance flying is developing deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity. To prevent this, take every opportunity to walk around and give your legs a stretch. Compression socks and tights are another great idea to help reduce this risk.

The trick is to be well prepared before you reach airport security. That way, you'll be stepping onto that plane to Aitong in no time flat. Follow these helpful tips and get your vacation off to a fantastic start:

• Your ID and travel documents will need to be shown to airport security. Keep them someplace accessible to avoid fumbling around for them.
