「We had a lovely stay at Hotel des Alpes. The owner is so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner which he hosted and he had us laughing every time he came to check on us. The dinner was amazing, as was the local wine. Breakfast was also perfect. A lovely buffet with just enough to choose from, and everything was top notch. We came back a few days later on our way back and the owner was thrilled to see us. When he realized he had us staying in the same room as a few days earlier, he...

「Beautiful old building with wonderful views. The staff are genuinely friendly rather than just professionally courteous. For those of us arriving after a long day's drive across France, the restaurant is a godsend. The menu is small, but the food and wine excellent, and it's such a relief not having to get back into the car to go in search of dinner. A good sturdy breakfast sets one up for the long drive south.」

「Beautiful place. Absolutely gorgeous interiors and the scenery is breathtaking too. The food and service at the restaurant are also very good. My only complaint was not having an air conditioner in the room as it got very hot when we were there. Apparently some rooms do have A/C but the hotel was fully booked so they could not transfer us to another room. However, the staff did everything that they can to make us comfortable. They gave us not one but two fans to use in the room which helped...

「Quiet and simply. You cannot get any better accommodation in - not only in Courmayeur but - all Europe to that price with these amenities and its staff. We really felt like home as the owner family is treating us. The gentlemen had been giving advises for Ski slopes like we are his family. His wife is greeting me and wife every time we see her like family. The night manager gentleman had been waiting for us to return to hotel late at night and closing the doors after us like we are his family....
